Encrypted to the Hilt
I've spend and enjoyed an incredible rabbithole. ZFSBootmenu, with encrypted ZFS, running either ChimeraLinux KDE or AlpineLinux KDE. I've gone completely bonkers: Chimera (thanks to the great guide by @dwarmstrong@fosstodon.org !) in the end worked, but was eating up around 2 Gb of RAM 😠. Alpine was a long and very winding road, to say the least. In the end (we are talking days) I had to settle for LUKS on LVM. Which is fine for now (and I need to present tomorrow morning). Man, what a ride 🤣 TBC!
