Those Detox Days
A couple of weeks ago Daniel Sternberg put out a blog post announcing the Summer of Bliss for the month of July. I quote:
'The curl maintainers will use this time of less pressure to take in some extra air and to enjoy the summer. Maybe stroll outside a bit more. Breath. Some of us may spend some of this time to see other places.'
As a self-proclaimed nerd, tech sales guy, freelancer and on and off teacher I immediately picked that idea up.
I'm busy being busy and I need a break.
A procrastinator above all there's the urge to take that skill to the next level.
4 Mick Herron's, 7 John Le Carre's, a Grisham and a rewind of Tarantino classics are waiting.
Linux podcasts are on hold, history and economics are in.
Mens Sana in Corpore Sano, so I'll continue my daily workouts anyway.
Chimera Linux, Slackware, FreeBSD and the spare ThinkPad will have to wait, as do Mastodon, Codeberg, Gentoo, Github and OpenZFS.
Take some time off, not everything is equally important, if at all.
